6-9-2010 - Clinical Students

As part of its continuing efforts to achieve excellence in medical education, Saint James School of Medicine (SJSM), has instituted a new policy whereby clinical students will need to take a short exam of less than 50 questions covering the core clinical area just completed. This policy will be in effect for all core rotations which start after July 1st 2010.
This policy does not apply to rotations which are already completed.

The exam scores will count towards 25% of your grade from that clinical rotation.

Before you can take the exam, you must register for the Exam Master online testing service via our library web site .

The purpose of this announcement is to ask you to please register to our Exam Master system.  Anyone who has already registered does not need to register again.

Description of online exams:

The clinical student will receive an email letting him or her know that the exams are available for the core rotation that he or she is currently completing.

After that, when the clinical student logs in to Exam Master,
he or she will see the exams in each of the following core clinical areas:

Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynecology, Pediatrics, Psychiatry and Surgery.
