About Us Following ten years of success with its medical school on Bonaire, the Saint James School of Medicine (SJSM) has opened its second campus on Anguilla in January 2010. Since the beginning, the Saint James School of Medicine has offered one of the best values of any Caribbean medical school. Its students benefit from affordable tuition, an experienced faculty, a small class size, and a low student to teacher ratio, which allows for more personalized instruction and student/teacher interaction. Saint James School of Medicine is recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Education Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG). Students graduating from Saint James are eligible to sit for the qualifying exams and are eligible to seek licensure in most countries around the world, including the U.S., Canada, and the United Kingdom. The MD Program is comparable to any U.S. medical school program with special reference to the requirements of the USMLE. The faculty is composed of highly qualified educators from the United States and around the world.
