The Saint James’ campus is tucked away in "The Quarter", located within walking distance of Anguilla’s capital city, The Valley. The medical school is housed in a brand new facility that includes classrooms, a library, faculty offices, the gross anatomy laboratory, and the student activity center. The school is equipped with the latest technology, and audio-visual teaching aids, such as LCD projectors, computers, electronic learning resources, and on-line journals. Wireless internet is available throughout the campus and high speed internet is available for use in the computer lab.
Anguilla is as an upscale luxury tourist destination best known for its beautiful beaches, coral reefs, excellent snorkeling, and scuba diving. Anguilla boasts 33 powdery white sandy beaches and about 70 bistros, bars, roadside grills and restaurants all within easy reach of the campus. It is also a popular destination for Hollywood celebrities. The capital of Anguilla, The Valley, is a small, picturesque city with a population of about 500 forming the largest community on the island.
Anguilla is a scenic island of about 35 square miles located east of Puerto Rico. Anguilla is a British overseas territory and the primary language spoken is English but the native language Creole, is also spoken and referred to locally as “Anguillian”.
