It is with great pride that the Saint James School of Medicine celebrates the accomplishments of Ankur Patel, M.D., an alumnus who this week was appointed medical director of the Inspira LIFE program. Ankur completed his residency in family medicine at the University of Alabama and underwent his fellowship training in geriatric medicine at the Glennan Center for Geriatrics and Gerontology at Eastern Virginia Medical School. At present, he’s pursuing an MBA from the University of Massachusetts.
Inspira LIFE is a national program with the mission to provide comprehensive all-inclusive care for the elderly that are clinically eligible. The end result is granting seniors the opportunity to live independently and safely in their own homes and community. As a member of the American Association of Physician Leadership and the American Geriatrics Society, it is clear that Ankur’s passion for geriatric medicine is unwavering, and his ambition and early successes are an inspiration to us all!
