Guest Speaker Dr. Persaud Motivates Students

During the winter 2016 semester, Doctors of Tomorrow hosted guest speaker Dr. Persaud, who presently works as a psychologist and a counselor on the island of St. Vincent. She gave a fantastic lecture on "Effective Ways of Learning Despite Social and Psychological Challenges." The lecture was insightful and allowed students to discover new ways of achieving their goals at an international medical school. The lecture included valuable tips with effective studying techniques for individual students' learning styles, as well as how to succeed in studies while maintaining a positive attitude. Dr. Persaud was very motivational and approachable during her lecture. Students who attended were moved by her compassion and knowledge. Due to the positive feedback received from the students of Saint James, there are sure to be more lectures given by Dr. Persaud in the future.
