The Academic Excellence Award is created to recognize and financially support the students who consistently show excellent academic achievements. Any current student who receives a final grade of “A” in a major course*, will receive a one-time $500 scholarship posted to their financial account with the school. A credit will be processed for each final “A” grade received in major courses*.
Criteria:

- Must be enrolled full-time with the school
- Must be in good financial and academic standing
- Must not have any disciplinary actions against them
Rules and Restrictions:

- *Major Courses are defined as courses that have an NBME shelf examination at the end of the course.
- Student must have no previous course failures.
- This scholarship can NOT be combined with any other scholarships or discounts.
- This scholarship applies ONLY to students in the Basic Sciences component of the MD program.
