In this increasingly competitive landscape, Saint James School of Medicine continues to set a gold standard for international medical education. With 68 students successfully matching this year, SJSM achieved an exceptional 96.1% first-time match rate for our 2025/2026 graduates. This performance not only mirrors the 93.5% match rate of U.S. MD seniors but significantly outpaces the broader International Medical Graduate (IMG) community. Nationally, the 2026 match rate for U.S. citizen IMGs sat at 70%, while non-U.S. citizen IMGs faced a five-year low of 56.4%.
